Mysainsburys Login – Employee Guide: Accessing the Sainsbury’s Colleague Portal
Welcome to the team! As a new colleague, your primary gateway to managing your work life—including rotas, payslips, and company news—is through our internal portal. Over the last few years, our systems have evolved from MySainsburys to OurSainsburys, and we have now fully integrated with Microsoft 365 for a more secure, single sign-on experience.
1. The Transition: MySainsburys to OurSainsburys
While many long-term colleagues still refer to it as “MySainsburys,” the official name of the portal is now OurSainsburys.
- What changed? We moved away from a standalone website to a Microsoft-branded login page. This allows you to use the same credentials for the portal, your work email (if applicable), and apps like UKG Pro (for shifts) and Viva Engage.
- Where to go: Always use the official URL: oursainsburys.
2. How to Login
When you visit the login page, you will see a standard Microsoft Sign-In box. This is the correct page for all Sainsbury’s Group employees.
Your Login Credentials
Your login is unique and follows a specific format based on your Employee Number (found on your contract or payslip).

Initial Password: This is usually provided by your line manager during your induction. If you were not given one, you will need to perform a “First Time Login” or password reset.
3. Troubleshooting & Common Issues
- “Account not recognized”: Ensure you are typing your employee number correctly and including the
@sainsburys.co.uksuffix. Do not use your personal Gmail or Outlook address. - Locked Out: If you enter the wrong password too many times, your account will be locked for 30 minutes for security.
- UKG App Issues: If you can log into the website but not the UKG Pro app, try changing your password on the main OurSainsburys website first to sync your accounts.
4. Password Resets & Technical Help
If you forget your password or your account is stuck, please use one of the following methods:
- Self-Service Reset: On the Microsoft login page, click “Forgot my password”. If you have already set up your security questions, you can reset it yourself.
- Manager Assistance: Your line manager can trigger a password reset for you through the Manager Self Service (MSS) portal.
- DTSD (Digital Technology Service Desk): For technical bugs, call the help desk directly.

Can I check my rota from home?
Yes. You can log into OurSainsburys or the UKG Pro app on any personal device using your Microsoft login.
How do I see my payslips?
Once logged into OurSainsburys, look for the “My HR” or “Payslip” icon. Payslips are usually available two days before payday.
Does my login work for Argos or Habitat?
Yes. Your central login credentials work across the entire Sainsbury’s Group network, including Argos and Habitat.
